I have been collecting old books ever since I can remember. Their covers worn and tattered have more then just a story to tell. Here, I've added hand painted pale cream roses to the out-side cover making this the perfect bed side decoration for your night table.

Hello Jo~Anne, I love old books as well, and have some of my mama's that I especially treasure... I even found a precious flower she had pressed so long ago inside Anne of Green Gables... yours looks beautiful with your handpainted roses... I am excited to receive my beautiful paperweight... love to you... kisses Jessy... xoxo Julie Marie
what a beautiful idea : )
I saw on an interior design show a great tip for a bedside "table"
If you have two consoles for a shelf but remove the shelf and put your favorite books lying down on them.
Maybe i am not explaining good. But the shelf consoles should be close together so you can put the books directly on them, without using a shelf.
beautiful paintings as always : )
Hello :) I just wanted to tell you that I recieved my copy of the Porch, Romantic French, magazine today, and it is absolutely YUMMY!!
Love those white roses on the old book. I too, collect books and also belong to a book reading club at the library. I was once a librarian at that library and just love anything book related.
