I adore vintage papiers so much with their fanciful script and lovely sentiments. I wanted to add a little something special to my own collection of old papiers- torn along the edges and discolored with age. This one dates 1893. I have embellished this one with hand painted cream roses, ribbon and string. This lovely poem reads-
Could you have seen the violets, that blossomed in her eyes. Could you have kissed that golden hair and drank those holy sighs. Oh you'd have been her tiring maid as joyfully as I. Content to dress your little queen and let the world go by...
Measures- 10x7 3/4.

Available on my website in Vintage Finds
