Hello sweet friends! I want to thank you all for your kind emails to me over the last month or so. Some of you asking, Where are you, are you ok??? I have been spending my time in Canada with my Father as he became very ill from prostrate cancer.. My sweet Dad passed peacefully with his 5 children by his side on Friday, September 18th. My Dad was the most amazing man I've ever known. A true gentlemen who lived for his family and served the Lord everyday of his life.
He is playing music for the angels now, and I know my mom has a front row seat. She waited along time for Dad to come home to her, and she is smiling at him. I love you so very much Dad; You are my hero...
My Dad was an incredible musician and played beautiful music all of us life. In 2004, He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Ottawa Canada, honoring him for his musical contributions.
If you would like a copy of my Dad's cd of easy listening favorite piano tunes, please email me at A lovely Dinner music Cd. All the proceeds will benefit the cancer society. $6.99 plus S&H.
This is the last photo taken with my Dad in August.

Rest in Peace Dad, I love you so very much...

I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. It's so difficult to lose a parent. My dad passed almost four years ago and I still don't believe it sometimes. He often leaves my sisters and I dimes in very strange places. Look for signs from him and acknowledge them and he'll keep letting you know that he's still with you. Take care and God bless.

I know that you were able to express your love to your father, these last few weeks, in a way that has sealed your devotion to him. I'm sure he goes with a great understanding of your love. And in turn I'm sure that you will always remember his touch and his whispers. You are the child of this great man and women. You can stand as a witness of their teachings and love, to all you know.

ps. will you please e-mail me your address again. I'm sending you the pictures of my house.

I"m so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I know it's not easy with our Parents dying. It's a shock for awhile and takes time within ourselves to heal. My dad is 82 and sometimes I can't believe he's that old. I lost my mom about 6 years ago and it's still hard to except she's gone sometimes. I'll be praying that the Lord will relieve you from so much pain. For I know thru your blog how you talk about your parents and the love that you shared so deeply for them.

God Bless You Jo-Anne

Mr. L was a true talent. He was blessed with so many wonderful things, his family, a loving wife, and the gift from angels, his music. Mr. L was a mentor to me when I was in my wild teen years, knowing I LOVED to sing, Moe, Glenn, Joanne, Bob, myself under the guidance of Mr. L started our 1st band together, it was there that it took a life of it's own. I spent many years sharing my love with many audiences around the New England Area. My family as well loved to hear me sing, but I was shy about it before Mr. L brought it out and gave me my 1st platform...we practised for HOURS and I'm sure we drove Mr. & Mrs. L crazy with the same song over and over, but I'm also sure they where listening and smiling. All the children where blessed as well with the musical talents, and my sweet JoJo has the voice of an angel, which I wish she we use more often. ;O) I too lost my Dad 9 years ago, his birthday is next week. I was a total Daddy's Little Girl and miss him dearly to this day and will in the future, BUT I also know he is watching over me, I have seen the signs and gotten the messages and feel the serenity that I have the most wonderful of Angels watching over myself and my family. Know that your Dad is watching over you as well, JoJo and be comforted.

Love to you my favorite of all friends!

I just happened upon your blog and this post about your dad's passing. I'm so sorry. He sounds like a wonderful man. I'm sure he and your mom are together once again... The poem you posted was sent to me after my mom passed away. It's so lovely, although the tears certainly flowed the day it arrived in the mail.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas... Donna
