Exciting News!!!

We have extended our services to include Interior Decorating. Please contact us for a free in-home consultation with Designer/Artist  Jo-Anne Coletti and her talented team. Jo-Anne inspires to the past & present to create the romantic home of your dreams!

I received an email from a dear customer that asked me if I was ever going to post photo's of my " Powder room". To tell you the truth this is one room I over-looked in my Romantic Decorating section of my website, but thought its due time to show & tell.  To start I painted the walls a pale pink with white trim. I wanted a fresh, clean look to the bath mixing different white and cream accessories together. The bath tub was opened and lacked privacy so I added a vintage screen to make it feel cozy and inviting.  The screen is an old window with peeling white paint and covered in fabulous vintage fabric. It was actually my very first vintage purchase, oh gosh some 16 years ago and one I could never part with.  A ladder design rack houses white towels, a antique stain glass window hung in the window doubles as privacy with lace panels. Plenty of candles and Ivy plants finishes the look.

The pink paint used on the walls is -Abalone by Vista Paints.

***Do you have a fabulously Chic Powder room you want to show off. I am working on a new project for a magazine and need your photos. Please send high resolution pictures to me for consideration.  Email- vintagerosecollection@comcast.net
Thank you!

Wishing you a beautiful week!
Love Jo-Anne

It is stunning Jo-Anne! Your never cease to amaze, however, with the beauty of your designs! When I first began this journey a couple of years back I would just go to your design page and stare in awe for hours...and leave the screen up on my computer all day for inspiration...lol! Thanks for sharing your bath! It inspires me to get in there and finish what I started in my own!

Hi Jo-Anne,
How beautiful, but I wouldn't expect anything less than pure dreaminess from you. I took my laptop over and showed my husband how clever your idea of the stained glass window above the other window... Love it all. Your decorating style is such an inspiration.

I've neglected my poor powder rooms too. But yours is so lovely now! The only creative thing I've done is add an old red oven top as a shelf. You can see it here: http://countingyourblessings.blogspot.com/search?q=oven+shelf It's an old subway-tile bathroom (black and white). Someday the inspiration will hit ;) Blessings... Polly
