I started this oil painting many months ago and just now got around to finishing it..I do this alot, start a painting and come back to it later...I wish I had more disipline in my work habits but it seems I'm always moving on to somehing else...
I am putting together a collection of vintage style paintings with a more darker background then your use to seeing in my work. I like the contrance and the moody feel. This painting called, " Vintage Rose" will be made into a canvas print early next month so be sure and watch for it on my website..More coming soon!
I hope your having a wonderful start to this gorgoues time of year..
Love to you sweet friends,

Jo ~ greetings from Canada! I'm back for a visit for a few weeks. Love the new paintings and I especially love the darker backgrounds as I am getting away from the lighter look in my home. They are just gorgeous! Take care my friend! ~Stacy~ xo

JoAnne your work is stunning.
I found the most beautiful vintage painting of roses. It is a very large painting with a Darker background. I was thrilled.
I can't wait to see what you will do.
Hope all is well with you.
Please stop by as I just posted about the rose painting.

Hi, My hubby is going to paint our room pink for me. I have seen a lot of ladies with pink rooms yet I really love the color you have on your walls, in pictures. Would you please tell me what color that is? Is that your office? It REALLY is pretty and perfect. I would have to buy Behr paint though. They could match a sample though I'm sure if it is a different brand. I would REALLY appreciate it. Thank you, Wendy
