We didn't get the E channel when her show was on there, so I never did get to see it. These videos look very promising; I might have to check them out! Thanks for sharing! :)
Wonderful! Can't wait - i hear they come out in April. I taped about 45 of the 56 shows she did and watch them over and over, they are so inspiring!
I love Rachel Ashwell. I guess she is the one who put a name and face on the way I've decorated all these years!!! I love peacocks, but I've never seen a white one...so beautiful. It was great to read your blog today. xoRachel
Im so happy to hear she is bringing them out on dvd. id like to think maybe I had a hand in it...lol... I called the company last year to ask if they were on tapes that I missed the show, they said no then I told them they should be, who knows :)
love your site.
Thank you so much for the beautiful picture of the peacock. I have never seen an all white one. It truly is glorious.
Hello Jo-Anne! Thank you for letting us know about the Rachel Ashwell tapes. I would love to have those, but I KNOW IN MY HEART if I did, I'd be tossing out every single stinking pieces of furniture in my house and starting over from scatch...and that is something that is hard to explain to a husband! I'll have to sneak things in one by one! Love your blog!

Joanne, I just LOVE your blog! It is always so inspiring and beautiful!
Thanks for telling us about Rachel's DVD's. I will look forward to seeing them.
Wow, that peacock is stunning! Are you the lucky one that got to see that in real life? Looks like the white winter wonderland we woke up to this morning!
Have a blessed and wonderful day!
I totally love everything Rachel Ashwell too! I remember sitting in my bedroom in college and watching her show...wish it was still on!!! It was one of my favs! Thanks for sharing the info!

Yes I miss her show!!! The sights and sounds fit me to a 't' :)
I was so disappointed that it didn't last any longer. I remember one in specific that was a single guy's apartment with roses and oranges on top of the fridge!
What gorgeous eye candy on your blog! Nice to meet you, too, neighbor (I grew up on the South Shore)! =) Those gowns you've posted are sooooo dreamy!
I too love Shabby Chic and have all her books. I use to watch her show but she hasn't been on in years. I too taped some of them and will look for her DVDs. Very pretty pictures on your blog.

Hi Jo,
How did I miss this post? I love it! I didn't know these were available - thank you.
I used to drive my husband & daughter crazy when this was on E. I would tell them it's 11:00 now you two know it's my time to watch Rachel Ashwell. Do you know what ever happened to Mark, he was the ideal man to take to all of those flea markets. I will definitely purchase these.
xoxo~Tracie
PS My husband and daughter will be thrilled to know I can now hit "Pause"!
All the four vintage prom gowns are cute. All in a boob tube style. I like most the blue green gown with a flower on the right side
I've just found your blog, it's wonderful! I didn't know about the Rachel-DVD, but will start looking for it now. I think I caught one show when it was on...I remember it being about Rachel decorating J-Lo's newest restaurant. I'd love to have the DVD!
